ریشه‌ها، مصادیق و پیامدهای فساد انتخاباتی

چکیده

فساد انتخاباتی سابقه‌ای به قدمت خود انتخابات دارد. ازاین‌رو طی دو دهه اخیر مراکز مطالعاتی و تحقیقاتی تلاش‌هایی را برای بررسی و شناسایی آن انجام داده‌اند. اهمیت این موضوع بیشتر از حیث تبعات و پیامدهای مخربی است که برای یک کشور و نظام سیاسی آن به همراه دارد. مقاله حاضر با بررسی ابعاد مختلف فساد انتخاباتی به تشریح و توضیح ریشه‌های بروز و شیوع این پدیده و نیز تبیین تأثیرات و پیامدهای آن می پردازد و استدلال می کند که این نوع فساد به‌ویژه در کاهش سطح مشروعیت نظام سیاسی و تقویت امکان بروز مناقشه در داخل تأثیر چشمگیری دارد.

Electoral corruption has a history as old as elections. However, to study and identify this phenomenon efforts have been undertaken by research and study centers mainly during the last two decades. This is more important in terms of consequences and devastating effects for a country and its political system. This essay examines various aspects of electoral corruption and gives an explanation of the roots of the incidence and prevalence of this phenomenon and explains its effects and consequences. It argues that this type of corruption has a significant effect especially in reducing the legitimacy of the political system and strengthening the possibility of internal conflict.
