Abstract

The function of Territorial Representation alongside with legislation and oversight are the main duties of Mps in many political systems. Representational function includes four types of responssivness: policy, service, allocation and symbolic.Political systems can via institutional regulation and establishing set of laws regulate representational function of Mps.This paper with descriptive and analytical approach emphasize the role of incentive system affected by institutional chain in localism of Mps in iran.This paper argues that in the absence of complementary institutions such as second parliament,institutionalized parties an party-based electoral system and appropriate internal codes in parliament, Mps have been led to focus to much on constituency services.in such a situation seems that regulating and organizing of representational function of parliament is important prerquisite to improve function of Iranian parliament.
