- The structure of the article should be in accordance with one of the universally accepted forms of scholarly articles and must include:
- An abstract containing Farsi and English keywords,
- an introduction,
- a main text,
- a conclusion and
- references
- The research method must consist of:
- the research topic,
- the research objectives,
- hypotheses or research questions and
- a brief description
It is important to note that, the description provided must be brief, clear and easy to read, and that this must be particularly observed in the introductory sentences.
- The abstract must consist of a maximum of 300 words, which include:
- the title and subject of the article,
- the research method,
- the most important results and
- a list of keywords (maximum 10 words)
The abstract should also be attached to the article separately and in its allocated and relevant place. In addition the university the research took place in and the e-mail/s of the author/s has to also be provided.
- An English translation of the article title, abstract and keywords should be sent along with the article.
- A4 paper must be used and the appropriate spaces left for margins and between the lines observed.
- All articles should not be under 3000 words and should not exceed 8000 words.
- The submitted article should not be published in any domestic or foreign journal or sent to other journals.
- The ‘Parliament and Strategy Quarterly Journal’ is free to edit articles and no submitted article will be returned.
- JEL Classification System must be inserted after the keywords.
10. All information or statistics provided must be referenced, including tables and graphs, and all references used listed at the end of the article. Furthermore please observe the following:
- Order of Persian sources: (author's family name, year of publication: page), e.g. (Farhadi, 1376: 65).
- Order of Latin sources: (page: author's surname, year of publication), e.g. (Smith, 1995: 18).
- If the sources are repeated consecutively (without spaces), after the initial mention, the following mentions should be referenced as “Ibid” along with the relevant page number only, e.g. Ibid, p.5.
- If in the same year more than one work has been published by an author, they should be distinguished from each other using the letters of the alphabet after the year of publication.
- 11. It is necessary to include the non-Persian equivalent of technical words, names of people or places in the footnote.
- 12. In the bibliography, the alphabetical list of Persian and Latin sources should be presented as follows, first Persian and Arabic sources and then Latin sources. Please observe the following order when listing sources:
- Books: author surname, author name (date of publication). Book name, translator name, place of publication, publisher name, edition number, volume.
- Articles in journals: author surname, author name (year of publication). "Article title", journal name, edition number, journal number.
- Article in a collection of articles or encyclopaedias: author surname, author name (date of publication). "Article title", book name, editor name, place of publication, publisher name, edition number, volume number.
