Abstract
The objective of this research is to develop an optimal model for preventing the generation gap in audience interaction with social networks. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing a thematic network. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 21 experts in generational studies, selected through a non-random sampling method. Through theoretical coding of the data, comprehensive, organized, and fundamental themes were identified and analyzed. The analysis of the research findings revealed that the ideal model for addressing the generation gap in audience interaction with virtual social networks consists of five comprehensive themes: the proper functioning of educational institutions, the proper functioning of family institutions, the proper functioning of media institutions, the proper functioning of religious institutions, and the proper functioning of political institutions. Additionally, 14 organized themes and 55 fundamental themes were identified. To validate the findings and to ensure of the reliability of the findings their repeatability, transferability, or generalizability methods were utilized.
