The present study examines the role of artificial intelligence in social networks and elections and analyzes demographic connections, fake content, and public trust. This study aimed to investigate the impact of demographic connections and public trust in elections and the role of artificial intelligence in improving the election process. A survey method and available library resources were used to conduct this study. This study used existing resources and collected the required data from the study population, namely university students based in Tehran, and descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The findings of the study show that there is a significant relationship between demographic variables and the duration of use of the Internet and social networks. Also, artificial intelligence systems can help in identifying and excluding fake news and advertising content on social networks. On the other hand, artificial intelligence can help in improving the election process and increasing public trust in elections. This research analyzes data using statistical methods and artificial intelligence models, and its results can be useful for policymakers, election officials, and social activists. The findings of this research can be effective in improving the election process and increasing public trust in elections, and better highlight the role of artificial intelligence in social networks and elections.
