Governmental performance strongly affects prices as well as economic stability. Thus, , in order to explain the correlation between the public budget, inflation and economic growth, this article uses a model based on theoretical foundations, previous studies in developing countries and economic realities. Factors considered in this article includes the general level of prices, government spending, government's non-oil revenues, the volume of money, actual domestic production and an equation specifying inflationary expectations  Using annual data for the period from 1976 to 2011 and utilizing a system of simultaneous equations and two-step method of least squares (2SLS), this model is tested and evaluated.   The results of this study suggest that deficit in Iranian public budget has led to inflation, brought about regression and slowed down economic growth. Iran is a country dependent on revenues from crude oil exports. Thus, policy-makers and planners in the public sector should give up the reliance on oil revenues, reform the structure of tax revenues, provide the annual budget bills correctly and finally contract the size of public sector.  توجه به مسئله تورم و رشد اقتصادی خاص یک کشور نیست، بلکه در تمام کشورها از جمله در کشورهای حال توسعه صنعتی به‌صورت‌های مختلفی خود را نشان می‌دهد. عملکرد دولت از عوامل تأثیرگذار بر قیمت‌ها و همچنین ثبات اقتصادی است. در این مقاله به‌منظور تبیین روابط متقابل بین کسری بودجه دولت، تورم و رشد اقتصادی از الگوی مبتنی‌بر مبانی نظری، واقعیات اقتصادی کشور و مطالعات قبلی متشکل از 6 رابطه سطح عمومی قیمت‌ها، مخارج دولتی، درآمدهای غیرنفتی دولت، حجم پول وتولید ملی واقعی و همچنین یک معادله تعریفی درباره انتظارات تورمی استفاده شده است. این الگوها با استفاده از داده‌های سالیانه دوره زمانی 1390-1355 به‌صورت سیستم معادلات هم‌زمان و به روش حداقل مربعات دو‌مرحله‌ای برآورد شده است. نتایج حاصل از پژوهش حاکی از آن است که کسری بودجه عمومی باعث تورم و ایجاد رکود و کندی رشد اقتصادی کشور شده است. از طرفی ایران کشوری وابسته به درآمدهای حاصل از صادرات نفت خام است و بر این اساس سیاستگذاران و برنامه‌ریزان کشور باید استقلال بخش دولتی از درآمدهای نفتی، اصلاح ساختار جذب درآمدهای مالیاتی و تنظیم صحیح لوایح سالانه بودجه و در نهایت کوچک‌سازی حجم بخش دولتی را مورد توجه خاص قرار دهند. https://nashr.majles.ir/article_6_1679091c5a880faf6fb5e6087eb1b2dc.pdf
