This study examines the impact of government's supportive policies on the total factor productivity in Iran's agriculture sector over the period 1981-2010. For this purpose, the Torn-Quist index (known as total factor productivity index) is used to determine the total factor productivity and PSE (known as the Producer Support Estimate index) to calculate the amounts of support in subsectors of agriculture.  Hence, the Panel Data Approach was applied to estimate the productivity model in agriculture sector. Estimation of total factor productivity in agriculture sector suggests that supportive policies have  meaningful and positive impact on total factor productivity of agriculture sector. Based on the results of the survey, supporting policies as an important and effective factor for productivity of agriculture sector must be considered more seriously by politicians. These supports should be granted to exemplar farmers with high-performance to encourage them. Besides, other manufacturers would utilize more convenient methods of production to improve performance, and therefore total factor productivity will increase. افزایش بهره‌وری عوامل تولید در بخش کشاورزی از جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. این مطالعه اثر سیاست‌های حمایتی دولت را بر بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید در بخش‌ کشاورزی ایران را طی دوره 1389-1360 مورد بررسی قرار داده است. شاخص ترنکوئیست1 برای تعیین بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید و شاخص حمایت از تولیدکننده (PSE) برای محاسبه میزان حمایت در زیربخش‌های کشاورزی استفاده شد. الگوی بهره‌وری در بخش کشاورزی با استفاده از رهیافت داده‌های تابلویی برآورد شد. برآورد مدل بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید در بخش کشاورزی حاکی از آن بود که سیاست‌های حمایتی اثر مثبت و معناداری بر بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید بخش کشاورزی داشته است. با توجه به نتایج پژوهش، سیاست‌های حمایتی به‌عنوان یک مسئله مهم و تأثیر‌گذار بر بهره‌وری بخش کشاورزی باید ازسوی سیاستگزاران اقتصادی بیشتر مورد توجه قرار گیرد و این حمایت‌ها باید بیشتر به کشاورزان نمونه و با عملکرد بالا اعطا شود تا علاوه‌بر تشویق آنها، سایر تولیدکنندگان نیز برای بهبود عملکرد، از شیوه‌های مناسب‌تر تولید استفاده کنند و بهره‌وری کل عوامل تولید افزایش یابد. https://nashr.majles.ir/article_114_5fd0b37cd7dbbb00f97ba6ce92bf5add.pdf
